    Digital Traffic Manager

    Four focus areas:

    • Project Management- You take ownership of your portfolio of allocated jobs in studio & the respective creative teams assigned to them.  Your timing plans are considered & accurate and you strive to adhere to the commitments made to the various stakeholders
    • Financial Management - With an understanding of the agency rates and how jobs are costed the Traffic Manager scopes out the project and together with the Head of Traffic and relevant ECD and CD's, allocates resources accordingly to ensure for projects run profitable.
    • Stakeholder & Integration Management - You understand that your role is not in isolation of the other Agency departments - like Production, DTP, Account Management and even Strategy. As such, your orientation is to drive collaboration and integration in an effort for your teams to work better together. 
    • Administrative Management: You pay attention to the detail and worry about the little things, with strong organization, admin and time management skills.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Lead and execute social media content and strategy for M&CSaatchi Abel client campaigns: 

    •    Creating content in line with a brand’s social media strategy and tone
    •    Partner with a digital designer to create break-through, award-winning digital communications
    •    Writing content that is suitable for various social media platforms
    •    Helping to drive campaign ideas and creative brainstorming sessions
    •    Driving engagement and conversations with the community and ultimately establishing brand loyalty
    •    Identifying tactical and relevant opportunities to engage with the community
    •    Working closely with the Analytics team to drive positive sentiment and optimise on content opportunities
    •    Executing and optimising content during campaigns to ensure momentum and optimal visibility
    •    Live streaming/tweeting/Instagram stories from events
    •    Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends within the digital and social media landscape
    •    Executing social media competitions and collating entries
    •    Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. 
    •    Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    You will be responsible for bold creative ideas, copywriting, conceptual development and crafted storytelling across channels for recognisable, blue-chip brands. 

    5 THINGS YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
    1.    Concepts: Not only do you bring brave, new and diverse thoughts to brainstorms, but you come up with strong integrated thinking. You understand the brand's overall strategy and is able to develop work that answers to this. You may also need to facilitate brainstorms where you are able to build on other's ideas and come to solutions quicker. You are to pursue simplicity and ensure your thinking is sharp and beautiful.
    2.    Execution: Your experience now means that you must be able to produce work faster and you should by now have mastered the art of writing in various tones of voice.
