    Business Unit Head

    CONNECT is a dynamic media company, which operates as part of the M&C Saatchi Group of companies in South Africa.

    Our JHB office is looking for a Business Unit Head to join our team and help grow our client base and offering in JHB. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to help build a business and leave their mark.
    The candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced, collaborative, creative, entrepreneurial and high-performance environment.

    Four focus areas:

    1. Business & Client Lead: This role includes all aspects of business management, including revenue, overall business growth, networking, team growth and development, development and maintenance of relationships with senior-level clients, and managing expectations with agency partners.
    2. Stakeholder & Integration Management: The role includes working closely with other functions (inside the M&C Saatchi Group and outside partner agencies)  to develop  and refine strategies to achieve client goals and execute them.  
    3. Digital: We are looking for someone that is fully versed in digital media  and will lead the approach around digital platforms, partnerships and strategies.
    4. All-rounder: You pay attention to the detail and care about the little things, with strong organization, admin and time management skills.

    1. Media Savvy: You have the ability to be on top of media trends and apply them to your client’s strategies. You are genuinely interest and passionate in how people consume media.  You actively seek out the latest data and understand the local & global landscape.
