    We are looking for an experienced account manager to join our CPT Team
    The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

    • Demonstrate a passion for creativity and ideas and seeks to grow his/her business portfolio through enviable creative solutions
    • Must have previous BTL and Digital experience in an agency environment
    • Two+ years’ experience in the account management function (big agency experience is preferable)
    • A positive approach to problem solving, with enviable people skills - both within the agency environment and when dealing with client
    • Has strong organisation, admin and time management skills, able to manage projects
    • Pays attention to the details and worries about the little things
    • Has strong integrated marketing skills
    • Is energetic with a go-getter attitude

    We are looking for an experienced account director to work on a through the line portfolio of business in our Cape Town office. 

    The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

    • Previous advertising agency experience is essential
    • Four+ years of experience in the account management function (big agency experience is preferable)
    • Experienced in working with senior clients across multiple stakeholders
    • A natural leader with fantastic people skills - both within the agency environment and when dealing with client
    • Has strong organisation, admin and time management skills, able to take the lead on projects
    • Pays attention to the details and worries about the little things
    • Has strong integrated marketing skills
    • Is energetic with a go-getter attitude

    Copywriter

    Our Cape Town agency is looking to hire a copywriter with three to five years' experience, having worked in an advertising agency. You will be working across channels for recognisable, blue-chip brands, covering everything from ATL, digital, BTL and a bit of experiential/activations thrown into the mix as well.

    The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

    • A varied (and award-winning) portfolio book which contains a mix of real work and a strong conceptual ability
    • Clear copy skills – craft, insight, argument
    • A hunger for the industry and an interest to grow
    • A proven track record in reputable advertising agencies with a portfolio of work
    • A strong agency pedigree and will add to the culture of the agency 
    • Humorous work will be a big plus.

    Copywriter / Content Manager

    Our Johannesburg agency is looking to hire a copywriter/content manager with three to five years' experience, having worked in a digital environment for at least 1 year. You will be responsible for bold creative ideas, copywriting for digital, conceptual development and crafted storytelling across digital channels for recognisable, digitally-forward, blue-chip brands.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Lead and execute social media content and strategy for M&CSaatchi Abel client campaigns: 

    •    Creating content in line with a brand’s social media strategy and tone
    •    Partner with a digital designer to create break-through, award winning digital communications
    •    Writing content that is suitable for various social media platforms
    •    Helping to drive campaign ideas and creative brainstorming sessions
    •    Driving engagement and conversations with the community and ultimately establishing brand loyalty
    •    Identifying tactical and relevant opportunities to engage with the community
    •    Working closely with the Analytics team to drive positive sentiment and optimise on content opportunities
    •    Executing and optimising content during campaigns to ensure momentum and optimal visibility
    •    Live streaming/tweeting/Instagram stories from events
    •    Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends within the digital and social media landscape
    •    Executing social media competitions and collating entries
    •    Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. 
    •    Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    •    Displays in-depth knowledge, understanding & proficiency of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest, as well as emerging platforms etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
    •    Conceptualisation of campaign ideas according to client briefs and proactive agency work
    •    Minimum of 3 years’ experience fulfilling the Social Media Manager role agency or client side
    •    Critical analysis of social media data in order to pull out key learnings to client
    •    You’re a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (i.e.: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management)
    •    Maintains excellent writing and language skills
    •    Understanding of design principles

    We are looking for an experienced business director to lead a portfolio of  important blue-chip brands within our Group.

    Experience required 

    •    Eight+ years of experience in the account management function 
    •    Critical business understanding - achieving and exceeding forecasting, managing client budgets and agency revenue/income reporting
    •    Experience in running big blue chip businesses for an agency successfully for a number of years
    •    Strong mentoring and coaching instincts, supporting growth for a team from AEs to ADs 
    •    Has experience in ATL, BTL, Activations and digital, and Preferably has experience working on a retail-based account
    •    Would enjoy the responsibility and freedom that comes from reporting directly into the MD of the company

    Core responsibilities: 

    •    Working collaboratively with your creative partner to push the creative standards across your business, actively driving the conversation around great work, that works
    •    Builds a respected and acknowledged account management team.
    •    Full responsibiity for finance, profitability, team structure and operational efficiency on the portfolio of business.

    Project management:

    Client management: 

    •    You hold relationships with the most senior clients (marketing director/CEO) and engage meaningfully to drive a partnership model

    Creative management: 

    •    You hold a partner relationship with the ECD and embed innovative thinking into the core of the business

    Strategy management: 

    •    With a clear understanding of the broader business objectives of the client, you are able to act as a strategic consultant on all marketing and communication requirements

    Finance management:

    •    You manage and steer the financial fitness of the accounts (profitability, staff and income ratios) while driving and identifying additional revenue and business opportunities to increase forecast. 

    People management:

    •    You will build a respected and acknowledged account management team, taking full responsibility for finance, profitability, team structures and operational efficiency on your portfolio of business. Happy people. Happy clients. Happy work.
